I’m interested in booking you what should I do?
Fabulous! If you’re interested in booking please fill out the contact form on my site, give me a call or email – It’s easier for you (and me) if we firstly find out if your date is available. I already have quite a few advanced bookings so the earlier you do this the better.

What happens next?
Once I’ve confirmed the date is available I’ll email you over my contract (I think it’s important you see what my expectations are before we arrange to meet) If you’re happy with everything then let’s get together over coffee and cake or a fleeting visit to go through the necessities whichever you’d prefer.

We love you (hopefully) so what now?
If you want to secure your date I’ll need a 20% deposit, I have my bank details within my contract. You’ll receive an email of confirmation along with my client questionnaire..

Our wedding isn’t for a while so will we speak to you at all?
If you need to speak to me about anything then PLEASE get in touch, if it’s to do with photography restrictions which you might receive from the registrar or vicar or even ideas for colour themes (I have been asked) I’d love to know.  I will take the main details about your wedding when we meet or over the phone but I’m aware especially for weddings months ahead that a lot of your day won’t be planned yet, don’t worry.

1 month to go…

Because there’s very little I can do up until your big day I don’t really start to get the wheels in motion until there’s a month to go -I’ll get in touch (usually by email) with a plan of your day as I know it and over the next few weeks we’ll make sure it’s a thoroughly organised plan of the day – We’ll set aside time for couple photographs and formal photographs (whatever you require) and I’ll let you know when I’m planning on photographing other things, the room for your wedding breakfast for example, you’ll know where I am at every moment during the day. Having said that you’ll be almost definitely in a whirlwind so leave it to me!

The balance of your payment is due 30 days before your wedding date, so I’ll give you a nudge if needed and also ask for a list of ‘we definitely want these photographs’ – This list should be an additional list to the formal family photographs, things that I may not be aware of, such as photographing an old family heirloom or piece of jewellery for example, if you’d feel happier having another catch up and for me to meet your other half if I haven’t then let’s do it!

Around the week before!
Ok… I’m getting very excited as I expect you are! – If you’re having a wedding rehearsal and I’m able to attend I would LOVE to be there.

A few days before
I’ll be in touch to check timings and to confirm what time you need me. If any details have changed please let me know.

The BIG day!!
I shoot with two Nikon D750 cameras, their batteries are fully charged as are the backups, memory cards a plenty are packed, gear cleaned etc…etc – I’m prepared. I CANNOT wait to get there and start making the most precious memories for you. All you have to do is enjoy it.

Your wedding day will go so quickly, a little tip from me to you… when you’re stood at the altar, sat having your wedding breakfast, maybe your first dance, open your mind and take in every bit of information you can, the sounds you can hear, the smells of  food, the breeze in your hair or the warmth of someone’s hand – Whatever surrounds you at that very moment, remember it like it’s imprinted in your mind and promise yourself to remember it forever.

After the big day…
Over the next few weeks I’ll be going through the photographs taken, there’ll be quite a few out-takes but the ones I can use will be individually edited using Lightroom and my specially created presets… A colour and black and white version of each image will then be added to your online gallery – The number of photographs will be specified in the package chosen.

You will have the rights to reproduce your photographs for personal use only (as stated in our contract)

Albums and parent albums can be created by myself if you wish.
